We hope you are enjoying your new home and staying safe with your family during this time! We wanted to update you regarding Landon Homes Warranty Service during the current COVID-19 outbreak. Following Local, State and Federal guidelines, Landon Homes and our trade partners are limiting their services to emergency items only during this time.
In case of an emergency, find the Warranty Sticker located on the door of the cabinet below your kitchen sink; there you will find the emergency phone numbers of our major vendors. You may also go to the Landon Homes website and click on the word Warranty at the bottom of the screen. Please note though, by calling the vendor directly, they can provide you with appointment information while you are on the phone with them.
What constitutes an emergency? Emergencies would involve no heating, no cooling, a plumbing leak, electrical circuit failure, a roof leak, an inoperable lock to secure the home and other health or safety issues.
We understand that 3rd party inspectors are not working during this time to inspect your home at the 11th month timeline. Once the restrictions have been lifted and these 3rd party inspectors are able to return to work, you may schedule your inspection and then submit your request as quickly as possible. When we receive your request, we will schedule a time to review your list with you.
As Governor Abbott works towards re-opening our State, we are preparing to receive an overwhelming number of non-emergency service requests. First, we are asking for your patience as we get back to normal business and second, we are asking for your help. Please, only submit your non-emergency requests at intervals of 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 6 months and 11 months after the date of your closing. This will help us manage your requests and will help you manage your time away from work for the repairs to be completed.
